Podcast Subscribing and Playing Instructions via iTunes

Step #1. Starting Up iTunes

These instructions are based on iTunes already being installed in your PC and Mac. If you do not have iTunes installed, or are not sure, please go to our iTunes Downloading and Installation Instructions. |

Start up your PC or Mac and start iTunes. |
|
For Windows users, you will find that iTunes is now in your All Programs under Start. Go to Start, then select All Programs and then choose iTunes. That process should look something like the following: |

For Mac users, you should choose iTunes in your Dock by double clicking on it. Your Dock should look something like like this: |

Step #2. Seaching for the Highcalling Podcast
|

| With iTunes started, tt will look something like this, although the content will likely be different as the Artists and Albums on this Feature Page are often changed up. It has not automatically gone to the iTunes Store, select the iTunes Store icon in the middle of the left column. |
 |
For reference, you can select any of the items under LIBRARY or STORE to see what is in each of those. To find the Highcalling Podcast to subscribe to it, you will search for it using Searching iTunes Store. Once you have subscribed, they will be in Podcasts

In the top right corner of iTunes, is the search window that is currently labeled Search iTunes Store. In that window, search for the Highcalling podcast by typing highcalling into that search window and then hit the Enter or Return key on your keyboard. When you do that, it should look something like this: |
| iTunes will now do the search and provide you with results that look something like this and should show the Highcalling Podcast, or Highcalling Blog in the section of the window that displays Podcasts: |

Step #3. Subscribing to the Highcalling Podcast

| a. |
| Now you can subscribe to the Highcalling Podcast by selecting SUBCRIBE in the window. |
|
|
| You are now asked to confirm that you'd like to subscribe .. yes, you'd like to, so select Subscribe. |
|
|
| Once you've done that, iTunes will change the view to this window. |
 |
iTunes will now be showing what is in the Podcast section of your LIBRARY. You should also notice that iTunes is now downloading one item in the Downloads section. iTunes is downloading the most recent edition.

| b. |
Now click on the arrow just left of Highcalling Blog and all the editions will be revealed with a orange yellow icon showing that the most recent edition is downloading.

To download any of the other editions, just select the GET button beside each edition to start them downloading.

| c. |
| Once an edition of the Highcalling Podcast is downloaded, it will be in black text rather than gray liek this: |

|
| To play the edition, you can select the edition once and hit the play button, or just select the edition twice in quick succession. When it is playing, it should look something like this: |

|
You should now be hearing the downloaded edition. To download other editions, simply select the GET button beside the edition.
|
| iTunes can upload the Highcalling Podcast to your iPod (if you have one) or can burn them to Audio CD (CD writer required in your computer). I recommend you look through iTunes Help for more information on either of these topics. |

The main control buttons are in the top left corner where you will find reverse, play and fast forward.

Everytime you start iTunes, it will automatically check for any new editions and, it there is a new one, it will start downloading it. |
